Wisdom Woman Weekend will begin with check-in at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19 and concludes at 12:00 noon on Sunday, February, 21.

Friday, 2/19

After arrival and a break to settle in (5:30 pm), there will be a brief "Intro Meeting" in the Great Room, followed by a Wine & Cheese reception in the Dining Room.

Friday evening's dinner will consist of "Group Soup". Each Wisdom Woman will be asked to bring one fresh ingredient for a soup that will combine our unique gifts into one pot. Your ingredient request will be emailed to you along with the final confirmation documents for the weekend, approximately one week prior to the event.

To accompany the soup, fresh bread and salad will be provided. Tea, water and fruit drinks will also be available. All other beverages are the responsibility of each individual participant (alcohol is permitted).

Saturday, 2/20

In order to keep the weekend cost affordable for all, each participant is responsible for bringing their own Saturday breakfast food. The kitchen can be used by all and the walk-in refrigerator is big enough to store your personal needs. Some may want to bring eggs and team up in that effort. Others may wish to have fresh fruit with yogurt or cereal with milk.

NOTE: Our Daily Grain has generously offered to donate individual serving containers of California Porridge! If this idea tickles your taste buds, please indicate the porridge breakfast selection on your registration form.

Saturday lunch (12 pm), afternoon snack (3:30 pm), dinner (7:00 pm) and Sunday brunch (10:30 am) will be catered by Lori Hofmann from California Girl Catering. Please indicate any dietary restrictions you may have on the registration form.

WISDOM WOMAN WEEKEND MARKETPLACE!

Registered weekend participants are welcome to display, promote and sell their products and services at the WWW Marketplace.

Self-authored books, art, jewelry, wear-ables and wellness products are just a few of the items that are acceptable for the marketplace. All entries must be submitted to cassie@thealternatepath.com for prior approval.

If you'd be interested in being a part of the marketplace, submit your detailed request to cassie@thealternatepath.com by no later than 2/1/10.

Sunday, 2/21

Sunday brunch will be served at 10:30 a.m., followed by a brief "debrief" in the Dining Room.

Cost

Stillheart Institute has recently been completely renovated. There is an elevator in the Main Lodge (14 Rooms) and 12 beautiful glass-walled "tree house" rooms that line the path outside of the main lodge.

Step One: Decide if you will be rooming alone, with one friend or two friends. Please indicate your roommate choice(s) upon registration, or a roomate(s) will be assigned to you.

Step Two: Decide if you'd like to stay in the Main Lodge or the luxury Tree Houses outside the lodge.

The following prices include a 2-night stay, meals listed above, and all mini-workshops throughout the weekend. Massage appointments are charged separately and paid directly to the massage therapist.

Main Lodge: 14 Rooms (4 triples/twin beds, 9 doubles/queen beds).

Single Occupancy: $495.00

Double Occupancy: $350.00

Triple Occupancy: $300.00

Tree Houses: 12 Rooms (2 triples/twin beds, 10 doubles/queen beds)

Single Occupancy: $552.00

Double Occupancy: $378.00

Triple Occupancy: $330.00

Cancellation Policy: In the event that you should need to cancel your registration, a 1/2 non-refundable room deposit will be held and can be applied to a future Alternate Path event. The remaining 1/2 will be refunded by check within 2 weeks of cancellation.

Other Information

A schedule of the free WWW mini-workshops will be sent 2 weeks prior to the event. Certain classes may ask that you bring particular items to participate. Please read each class description carefully in order to be prepared.
If you'd like to book a massage appointment, please contact Cassie at cassie@thealternatepath.com or (650) 578-8689 with your desired dates/time, and you will receive a confirmation of your scheduled time one week prior to the event. Indicate the desired session length (30, 60 or 90 minutes). Massage costs are: $90 per hour.
No pets are allowed at Stillheart Institute.
Alcohol is permitted, but will only be served by the WW staff at the Friday evening Wine & Cheese gathering (red only). You are welcome to bring any beverages of your choice to enjoy throughout the weekend.
Please feel free to bring other items that will make your stay more enjoyable, i.e. pillow, throw, magazines, books, etc.

The goal of this weekend is to provide a warm, safe, enriching environment for wisdom women of all ages to share and LEARN.
