MBSR is an 8-week series which consists of intensive training in several forms of mindfulness meditation, gentle movement and group support. The course is designed for those who yearn for more balance in daily life, promoting healthy living, renewal and stress management. MBSR complements the medical management of illness, chronic pain and stress-related imbalances and is modeled after the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., of the UMass Medical Center and Stress Reduction Clinic. Workbook and practice CD's included in course. Mindfulness is living your life one breath, one thought, one movement, one sound and one moment at a time.
